Saint Sorlin d’Arves is located in the French Alps (Savoie department) and in the beautiful area of Les Sybelles. The chalet is located in front of the village, next to the church (l'Eglise). Our chalet can be reached by car but also by plane or train/ bus.
Up to 25 km from the village you drive on the highway (via Lyon and Chambéry and the Maurienne Valley). From the place Saint-Jean- de- Maurienne (exit 27 on the A43) the ascent of the mountain starts (follow direction Vallée de l’Arvan and the D926). The D926 passes through the village of Saint Sorlin d'Arves.
Please note: the Col du Glandon and the Col de la Croix de Fer are closed in winter.
The nearest airports are those of Chambéry (75 km), Lyon Saint Exupéry (170 km), Grenoble (170 km) , Geneva (Switzerland) (180 km) and Turin (Italy) (165 km). In winter every Saturday buses travel between the Les Sybelles ski station and the airports of Lyon- Saint Exupéry and Chambéry.

Our chalet is accessible from SNCF trainstation Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne Arvan. Several TGVs and TERs run every day from Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Lille, Nantes, Amiens, Grenoble to the SNCF stations of the Maurienne Valley. Buses depart from Saint- Jean-de-Maurienne. There are also specialized long- distance bus companies, they run to the wintersports destinations in the winter season.
