In 2024 too, the Tour de France will pass the Chalet la Marmotte region! After several stunning stages in Italy, the men will finish in Valloire on July 2. And on Wednesday, July 3, the start will be in Saint Jean de Maurienne. The ladies start 1,5 months later. After a few stages in the Netherlands and Belgium, they will finish on the Alpe d'Huez on Sunday, August 18. During this tour the Col du Glandon will also be conquered.

The Tour de France will pass through Saint Sorlin d'Arves on July 14th, while the stage goes from Briançon to Alpe d'Huez! Be one of many on the route des Arves to encourage your favorites or simply to watch the passage of this legendary event! A few days before the pro's, many amateurs will take the course under race conditions (closed roads).

'Cindy and Daans Alpine dream-home is really amazing. My family and I enjoyed the magnificent view from the balcony and the garden. The location of the house - at the edge the village - is ideal for an errand, and the bakery with fresh bread and several nice restaurants are within walking distance. Because the house is an area situated between the mountains there are plenty of opportunities for beautiful trips. The chalet is fully equipped. The large living room is tastefully furnished and has a real cozy feel to it. The kitchen is fully equipped; it offers an oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, etc. And last but not least the beds; which are very comfortable.
